Help your dog feel comfortable and pain free through massage and allow them to live their best lives.
I have been a veterinary nurse since 2006, working in various veterinary clinics, from general practice, orthopaedic specialist and emergency settings. After taking time off to have children, I started back at work, which rejuvenated my love for animals and the need to want them to live their best lives. In 2022 I completed my qualifications and became a canine remedial therapist. With my experience and love for dogs I would love to help your dog live a happier and pain free life.
There are so many benefits of canine massage. As a certified massage therapist, I am trained to understand a dog’s anatomy and how much pressure can be safely applied to the muscles. The benefits of massage therapy include:
· Helping restore movement and flexibility
· Assisting before and after surgery
· Help reduce anxiety and stress
· Help reduce recovery time after surgery
· Assist in preventing injury
· Assist in maintain a good range of motions
· Help promote healthy circulation and blood flow to muscles
· Assist with pain
Your first session will last for 60-90 minutes (depending on size of dog and reason for massage). The first half of the session will involve a lot of talking. This is where I discuss with you about your dog, collecting a full history to have a clear understanding of what is happening with your dog. During this time, I am also building a repour with your dog-usually with some yummy treats. I will then assess your dog’s posture and gait before giving them a full muscle assessment. Then the fun begins, relaxing music is played, and the massage begins. All within the comfort of your dog.
At the end of the session, we have a discussion about moving forward and things you can do at home to help your dog. Follow up session will last for 35-40 minutes.
Pawsitive Massage is a mobile service. Due to comfort on our canine friends, I come to your home for each session. Dogs are more comfortable and relaxed in their own home. I will bring everything I need to provide a relaxing environment for your canine friend.

Red Light therapy promotes fast healing. Light photons penetrate deep into the tissues, this boosts ATP production and accelerates cellular regeneration.
It also helps by reducing inflammation and pain. Red light therapy helps the cells in tendons, ligaments, nerves and muscles repair faster.
It is 100% safe and natural. 1 treatment can stimulate ALL layers from the tissues, muscles, and joints.
